We hope you find the information on Reiki Jin Kei Do^© and Buddho-EnerSense^© interesting and informative. We are making these teachings available in a structured and gradual training programme, and have been working closely with the Head of the Lineage, Dr. Ranga J. Premaratna, with the guidelines of The International Buddho-EnerSense Training Network^©.

The Eastern Usui Lineage via Takamori: Reiki Jin Kei Do^© contains much original material of Reiki and is an unadulterated form.

Whilst there is much interest in Reiki people finding the roots of Reiki. Many of the teachings of Reiki have been lost, modified, suppressed, diluted with other systems of spirituality and healing. Much suspect material has been added in recent years, mainly as a marketing stance to make a system stand out from the crowd, with many claiming they have "the" authentic system; added material channelled from some higher being; extra symbols; extra energy; or other rays of healing energy.

We recognised the origins of Reiki in the Buddhist tradition and have constantly been researching this material, and trying to fit the missing pieces of the jigsaw. Through various contacts with the world-wide Reiki community we are finding that we have a more complete picture of the origins of Reiki and its spiritual purpose. This view is not the one commonly voiced by most Reiki teachers. Sadly, we are becoming more and more aware of how the quality of Reiki training has diminished from the time of Dr. Usui, and as the "new age" dawns we do not relish the prospect of "New Age Reiki".

So our emphasis is the same as Dr. Usui, one of following Reiki as a spiritual and meditational path towards fulfilment or enlightenment (in the Buddhist sense). We are not interested in Reiki, or Buddho-EnerSense^© as a "mass marketing" tool, for this was not its original purpose. To this end we follow the lineage guidelines of Reiki Jin Kei Do^©, in providing high quality Reiki training.

You may find others who claim to be teaching Reiki and Buddho-EnerSense^© from this the Takamori lineage, please check that they are also following the guidelines and teach with the approval of the Head of the Lineage (Dr. Ranga J. Premaratna). We do know of cases already where this lineage and its material has been diluted with extraneous channelled material, and it is sad that the students of such teachers do not have the knowledge that they are not being taught a pure and complete system.
