This instigates a personal growth process through experience and the development of understanding/awareness. By applying the training for oneself and others, personal insight develops, thus fully utilising to connection to the energy that was made during the initial training. Keeping a personal journal of thoughts/impressions can be helpful in this self-exploration and practice. Course notes are provided and there will books available on the day or by post to assist further studies. See above note on Completion and Certification.

The 2nd degree symbols help focus the energy and brings greater strength and flexibility. The student should be prepared to experience changes on several different levels. Further empowerment of the student brings greater responsibility. The class will include study, attunements, guided visualisation, practical work. Course notes are provided. As in the Reiki 1 class, you will be given a worksheet (homework), students are expected to take their course work into their daily lives, and keep a journal of treatments, distant treatments, personal thoughts, changes in one's life etc. . Requirements for Reiki 2 Students who have regularly practised Reiki (treatment of others and/or self-treatment) for a minimum period of 3 months can request training in 2nd Degree in Reiki Jin-Kei Do. The time span allows one to fully integrate Reiki and prepare for Reiki 2. Progression to Reiki 2 brings added commitment and responsibility and is not necessarily a step that is for all Reiki 1 students.

Further Studies for Reiki 2 Is an optional class covering material which we have found useful. Most of this we studied with teachers as part of our Masters studies. Includes some aspects of the Japanese Reiki Techniques. Course Fee/Personal Investment - £50 (£20 deposit).
Reviewing : Those who have studied with us and wish to review the same level will be accepted, space permitting, on a donation basis.
Students of other Lineages If you have already studied with another teacher and wish to study in this lineage (Usui Shin Kai: Reiki Jin-Kei-Do), you should repeat the training and participate fully in the course, receiving attunement, course notes and certification. Fees are the same as taking the training for the first time. At Reiki 2, it is not essential that you review Reiki 1 before taking Reiki 2. However, those wishing to study with us beyond Reiki 2, must receive the attunements for Reiki 1 & 2 in Reiki Jin Kei Do©. Students of other lineages can do this by reviewing a Reiki 2 class.Buddho-EnerSense Stage 1
The training is open all who have taken Reiki 2, preferably with at least 6 months experience of this level. It is a continuation of studies in Reiki Jin Kei Do and as such requires the student has received attunements in Reiki 1 and 2 in the Lineage of Takamori. It is open to those who have previously studied in other lineages of Reiki, but the attunements for Reiki 1 and 2 are usually given prior to commencement of training (at an additional cost). These students who wish to progress to Buddho-EnerSense should review a Reiki Jin Kei Do 2nd Degree class prior to commencing Buddho-EnerSense 2. The reason for this is that the training further develops the teachings and practices of the lineage of Reiki.Course Fee/Personal Investment - £100.00 Deposit £25 (£15 non-refundable) {remainder by cheque two weeks before seminar or cash 1st day}
Alternative Arrangements
We are able to offer training and attunement on an individual basis or in a small group by arrangement. Not everyone finds a weekend convenient, and hence our Schedule of Classes based on weekend seminars has now the additional options.
Reiki 1st Degree or 2nd Degree
Weekday training over 2 days. 10am - 6pm and 10am - 5pm (Tue/Wed or Wed/Thurs).
Weekday evenings over 3 evenings 6 - 10 pm (Tue/Wed/Thurs).Training is available at the same cost as our weekend courses and can be taken either one-to-one, or in a small group 2-4. We prefer a group of 2 participants so that practice is more effective and extensive.
Dates are by arrangement and do not occur during the week of the Reiki Support Night/Buddho-EnerSense Practice/Reiki Practice (all of which are usually the 2nd week in the month).
Our other training courses (Buddho-EnerSense) are available too in the same format.
If you feel this would suit your circumstances better, please telephone to discuss.

Note on Reiki Support Group / Practice Evenings / Sharing
We provide for our students a monthly support meeting and regular practice evenings for Reiki 1, Reiki 2, and EnerSense 1 and 2. These are not what are commonly known as "Sharing Meetings" in that they are open to those who have trained with us. Sadly our space is limited, and the numbers who attend are at the capacity of our home (around 35), and whilst we would like to provide open sharing meeting, we would need to hire a hall and transport treatment tables etc. At the moment our commitments are to those who have trained with us, to support them as best we can in a variety of ways. We do encourage trainees to form their own practice or sharing groups to extend their experience and application of Reiki. These meetings are generally held in a home and are often open to those who have trained in this tradition, by invitation of the organiser and subject to available space.
Note on Training Standards Reiki training is provided in accordance with the Reiki Standards of the Guild of Complementary Practitioners and UK Reiki Federation.Enquiries & Bookings

PREPARING FOR REIKI ATTUNEMENTS.
A Reiki attunement is a process of empowerment that opens you and connects you to the unlimited source of Reiki energy via your Crown, Third Eye, Throat, Heart, and Palm Chakras. During the attunement, and for some time after, changes will be made by the attunement energy that opens your system, enabling you to channel Reiki. These changes take place metaphysically in the Chakras and aura and also in the physical body. An emotional as well as a toxic release can take place as part of this clearing and settling process.
Whilst Reiki is concerned with the healing processes, these occur primarily on the spiritual, mental/emotional and then the physical levels. To get the best out of a Reiki seminar it is good to use the time before and after it to increase or establish those skilful practises which promote our well being of body, mind and spirit. It is an excellent opportunity to combine this new practice of Reiki "meditation with the hands" with other personal growth tools such as yoga, meditation/prayer, T'ai Chi/Chi Kung etc. Taking care of oneself, eating wisely, eating simply, minimising stimulants (e.g. caffeine, alcohol, sugar, tobacco, television) or letting go of old habits and finding more time for peaceful contemplative activities.
